Work as events planner in one of the most important hotel group of Malta, and provide your skills in events organisations.

Role of the intern

  • General administration.
  • Answering the phone and taking messages.
  • Updating client database.
  • Research on new contacts.
  • Preparation for functions.
  • Checking of function set-ups.
  • Preparation of weekly reports.
  • Preparation of function signage.
  • Preparation of function menus and label.

Requirements

  • Organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Negotiation skills when looking for the best, suppliers and contractors.
  • The ability to work under pressure to ensure the efficient running of an event.
  • Project management experience.
  • Problem-solving skills and diplomacy.
  • Sales and marketing skills to promote the event and attract sponsorship.
  • The ability to manage budgets as you'll be responsible for event budgets.
  • A flexible, target-driven, proactive approach.
  • Administrative and IT skills.
